ICPC Dhaka round will start on Saturday
The Dhaka phase of the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) begins on Saturday. 1,645 teams from 128 universities are participating in this online competition organized by Green University of Bangladesh. This time students of various universities including Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology, North South University, Jahangirnagar University are participating in this competition.
According to the organizers, 121 teams from International Islamic University Chittagong, 81 from Daffodil International University, 78 from North Western University, 65 from Rajshahi University of Science and Technology, 61 from Dhaka University and 26 from Green University of Bangladesh are participating.
The winning teams in the preliminary competition will have the opportunity to participate in the ICPC Dhaka round held on March 11, said ICPC Executive Committee Chairman and Dean of Science and Engineering Faculty of Green University Dr. Md. Saiful Azad.
ICPC Foundation organizes this competition known as Olympiad of programming every year with university level students. A total of three students are participating in each team in this team-based regional competition.
